How Long Does It Take To Get A Six Pack
By Ryan Allen • Sep 6th, 2008 • Category: FeaturesIt’s no secret that getting a six pack is hard work, so it isn’t a surprise that many people want to know just how long it will take to get a ripped stomach. The problem is there really isn’t an answer to this question as it differs for each person, depending on amount of exercise, amount of muscle building and diet.
Let me start by saying that to get a six pack in the quickest possible time I recommend the method described by “No Nonsense Muscle Building“. It won’t get you great muscles without effort but it’s definitely worth a look for people serious about looking their best.
So how long does it take to get a six pack? If you do a few sit-ups everyday and nothing else then you could be waiting a very long time. Everyone already has a six pack but in most people it can’t show through a layer of fat. So to get a visible six pack and ripped ab muscles you need to build up the muscle and burn the fat at the same time. Most people do the former but not the latter, which leads to frustration. Take a look at six pack exercises for some ideas on how to build muscle.
Getting a six pack is a long process so you need determination. Starting by trying to do it as quickly as possible isn’t a good start, as you’re likely to get disheartened and may even give up. What you need to do is work out a long term plan of muscle building, exercise and healthy eating. It’s probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but it is the only one that is proven to work!
Knowing how long it takes to get a six pack for an individual is almost impossible, but we can make an educated guess. If you are overweight, it is going to take longer as you need to burn off the fat covering the ab muscles first. This doesn’t mean it is impossible though – far from it! It just means you’ll need to keep it up for a longer time.
Getting a six pack is a great achievement, and is even more satisfying because it takes a lot of effort. And remember, once you have the ripped abs you want to be able to keep them! Because of this, it’s vital you realise you’re in it for the long haul. You will get there in the end, but try to stop asking yourself “how long does it take to get a six pack”.
