Six Pack Food - Eat Your Way To Ripped Abs
By Ryan Allen • Sep 6th, 2008 • Category: DietingExercise and muscle building will only take you so far towards getting a six pack. You need to also be eating the right foods and having a healthy diet or you’ll never get the great abs you want. The good news is, eating well and having six pack food doesn’t have to be boring.
I spent a long time trying to get a six pack thinking that if I exercised a lot and built ab muscles it would be easy. Unfortunately I missed a large part of the jigsaw by not eating a healthy diet. I was building the muscle but it couldn’t show because I wasn’t losing the fat!
Here are some foods that can help you achieve a six pack.
Most green vegetables – Did you know that most green vegetables actually burn more calories than you take in by eating them? A salad might not be as appetising as chocolate or another snack, but will make it a lot easier to get a sick pack.
Brown bread – Yes, white bread tastes better. I know. But in reality, brown bread isn’t that bad and doesn’t contain all the sugar that goes into white. It’s a lot more healthy eating brown bread or wholemeal bread, so if you’re serious about getting a six pack you should try it.
Lobster – This is a strange one, but eating lobster actually burns more fat than you take in by eating it, so is a good meal choice!
Fruit – For your general health fruit is extremely beneficial.
Chicken – Provides you with nutrition you need.
If we’re being honest, we all know which foods are good for us and which aren’t. Don’t worry about the occasional treat, but if you’re constantly eating junk food you will honestly never get a six pack.
